John Adams Courthouse

The John Adams Courthouse serves the city of Fitchburg and operates as the Massachusetts Appeals Court and the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. The Appeals Court hears criminal cases, civil cases, criminal appeals cases, and administrative cases.
 The Supreme Court hears 1st-degree murder appeals and other criminal, civil, and administrative appeals cases transferred from the Appeals Court.
